Mark Todd x Мишка / Art Show x Limited Ts

Tomorrow marks a special day for Mishka and artist Mark Todd.  Mishka has announced "Power Fury", showcasing a series of artwork from comic book x fantasy inspired illustrator Mark Todd on Thursday, April 15th at the Brooklyn shop.  Now, most of you are probably asking yourself, "Where's Brooklyn?", "How am I going to convince my mum to lend me the car for a whole day?", "Maybe if I vacuum the entire house, she will let me" 

For those of you not living in NY, Mishka, full of very smart individuals, have collaborated with Mr. Todd to created two limited ts to celebrate the artwork and the show.  The first t features a rendition of Lamour Supreme vs. Mishka's classic Kaiju Invades. Next (check after the jump) features Mishka's favorite hottie, the Predator.  Check the artist here, and a "blurb" (short for blurbation) below. 

Mark Todd uses the visual tropes of comic art and inventive fantasy as the creative impetus for his work. His interest in the deconstruction of pop cultural icons such as X-Men, Iron Man and the Fantastic Four prove even more alluring when coupled with his post modern sensibility. The subjects almost become erased through a process of repetition, distortion and the use of mixed media materials including spray paint, cel-vinyl glossy varnishes and dusty stains. The pieces are rounded at the edges, appearing as prized objects or tablets encoded with some of civilization’s most iconic collective wisdom.

Мишка x Extra Butter x Breaks Kru Spring 2010 Lookbook

Extra Butter has just released its Mishka Spring 2010 Lookbook and let me tell ya, it looks amazing.  Extra Butter and Mishka have some sort of special bond going on, a relationship that is secret, only to the people closest to these underground organizations.  Midnight meetings and all that jazz.  That being said, it is a relationship that brings us the Extra Butter Spring 2010 store Lookbook with special guests, Breaks Kru.  Motivated by a special connection Extra Butter has with the NYC Breaks scene

The Mishka Spring collection features New Era fitteds, boxer shorts, ts, snapbacks, sweaters, and button down shirts. Oh, backpacks to fit the rest of the collection inside while you take the bus home. Heres a look.
