Gitman brothers is an American heritage brand, paying tribute to the early eighties with finely crafted oxfords, detailed immaculately, including original double-track stitching, chalk buttons, locker-loops and box-pleats. The summer 2010 line sets out to bring back the summer of 1984 with a range of bright oxfords ready for a sleeve roll-up and extra button down. Add some wayfarers to the mix and girls will be asking for your cell-phone number AND pager. Wait, pagers debuted in the nineties, am I wrong? Either way, these shirts are a must have for my wardrobe this summer, and maybe I’ll pick up a pair of 501s to get those eyes bulging. (The girls and the old dudes running home to dance in their living rooms, to listen to a Tears for Fears album)
